Daily Diary![]() 24th June 2010 Our 1Goal scarf is 23m long!
The3 winner of the 1 Goal competition was Abbie Meldrum P6S. She collected 263 signatures; well done Abbie. 29th April 2010 Miss Williams, our active schools coordinator was in today to do some orienteering with the children. We had to identify areas of our school grounds on a map and write a key for landmarks. We had to then collect flags from around the area and label them on the maps. It was great fun.
28th April 2010 Louise was worried about the amount of litter near her home, so she wrote to the Queen about it. She received a lovely letter back from Buckingham Palace thanking her for letting them know about it.
28th April 2010 Street Jammin were in school today as part of International Education week. The children danced to music from all over the world. The instructor explained how dancing keeps them fit, active and their minds alert. He reinforced what the school is always telling them, that they can be anything they want to be if they have faith in themselves, work hard and respect each other.
20th April 2010 Angus is going to Glencoe at the weekend to take part in a virtual descent of Mont Blanc. Mont Blanc is in France and it's hard to get to (not just because of the Ash Cloud). So having a virtual Mont Blanc in Glencoe is a really cool idea. I have set up a Glen Coe page in the UK travel section. 7th April 2010 We always have an easter egg competition. It was a tough job for our school minister but he chose Heidi as the winner. Well done Heidi.
The people puppets came to visit us again, is that Jedward?
